At this point in the game, as far as Berryz and C-ute are concerned. If one goes, they all go. It's fine enough when they are starting out, but once they are an established group (unless your name is Morning Musume). You'd miss that hole and it would be very hard to fill.

Indeed. Momoko is still hugely popular as a talent (only God knows why, but it is what it is), so would she give up that money and fame to work as a teacher? For that matter, does she actually want to work as a teacher, or did she get the degree just for the sake of getting a degree? Even after you take the real Momoko out of the Momochi character, she doesn't quite have the temperament to work with young children. (Besides, if I remember correctly, Konno's degree is in environmental policy and administration, and look at what she's doing with it.)

Alternatively, would Momoko graduate from Berryz but stay with Up-Front to continue working as a talent? Why would Up-Front agree to that? At this point, Berryz without Momoko might fall completely into obscurity; they're already fighting to hold third place in H!P. Up-Front would be foolish to allow such instability in a veteran group. It would be better either to put them on hiatus or to disband them outright, to eliminate the uncertainty and reallocate the resources to promoting the hot groups and forming new groups. But right now, the rising tide is lifting all boats. It's not time yet, not unless the members themselves decide it is.

Besides, why would Momoko even need to graduate from Berryz? She's already demonstrated that she can handle the load of Berryz and school and talent appearances. She's on television almost every day, even though we don't post most of it here. So if she's done with school, that frees up time that can be spent on either part-time teaching or more talent appearances, whichever she wants.

Finally, the Budōkan is where you have graduations, not where you announce them. A surprise disbanding, for the reasons given above, would be an interesting twist. Maybe. Their first and last solo concert at the Budōkan, yadda yadda yadda. But they've already announced a spring tour…

So no, I don't expect any announcements.

Maybe Momoko will make a surprise announcement: She has so many gigs as Momochi that it is becoming repetitive for her so she will be starting a second talent personality, Momocho. Momocho will be very sophisticated and intellectual.

I know Momo proves she can handle alot of stuff, but I just keep tha stuff in mind. Didn't she have to take a month of from activites last year?

I hope she won't graduate. Because after seeing Berryz without Momo in the winter tour...I didn't really like it.

If anything, I would expect Berryz to graduate from H!P (and from being idols) and just become a UF act but still be Berryz. Same goes for C-ute. Once that day comes but I really don't expect that to happen anytime soon. C-ute because they still look and act and pull off idols about as well as Juice=Juice. And Berryz, while not as idol-y, Momochi is still a thing, and the group as a whole isn't ready to leave H!P yet.

I DO want some kind of announcement or something though. Even if just... a new single or something lol

They will most likely introduce their 34th single.

So you want Hello!Pro Kids to do what Melon Kinenbi did? That sounds interesting.

I figured they'd do the Melon Kinenbi thing too. OR perhaps some of them would stop the performance thing and we'd get new groups.

Would it be more appropriate to post updates about C-it's Hawaii fan club concert here?

I never said I want them to do that. Just that if they would leave H!P in any form, I expect them to leave H!P but stay as a group under UF. However, I do think that UF could need that at some point, once Lovendor is more established (if they ever will) because having Berryz/C-ute be a M-line group, would definitely do well for those Music festa lives.

So does that mean no one cares either way? Should I just not update at all?
