Question: What has made you feel the most accomplished with Morning Musume?
Reina: I feel a bit like I'm finally here, at this point. I always liked singing, but this tour has many moments when I really feel that singing is what's right for me. So... maybe this, right now.

Sayumi: I've been with Reina for ten years, but unfortunately it wasn't until now that I've become so close to her. Before this we weren't really good friends or anything.
Reina: Yeah we totally weren't.
Sayumi: We weren't fighting really, but we just didn't go well together. So now that we've finally become close she's graduating. I can't say I'm not feeling lonely, but the way Reina is with Lovendor is really cool so I will definitely cheer her on and we who are still here are gonna do our best too.
Sayumi: Reina's presence is big to the group. Especially with her singing. She's really good. So when she graduates someone will have to take her parts and, well I'm weak in that department so... or well, what do you think, can I?

Question: So the announcement of 12th generation members?
Tsunku: Yeah I surprised the members, or well I'd told 6th gen first, but the others were surprised. The fans too, or well they had a feeling of "Maybe?" but within that they cheered for it. I don't think I'll pick too many girls, but like... Like Michishige said, someone who's really good at singing or really good at dancing or maybe not but has a really strong personality is what I would want. What I really want is a girl you can't win over, a girl who stands out.

And then maybe AKB's impact [on the idol world] will fade too. Momoiro Clover I think will be fine. So we'll fire things up with the number of members. The whole interchange seems pretty light-hearted (I like Reina's "Ah, but that's more a problem with intelligence... " ), so I wouldn't take 20 too seriously, either as a goal or a limit. But if Tsunku/UFA feel like they're on a roll with adding members (the last few gens went very well, so I suspect that's the case), they may be pretty open to the idea of something in the 15 to 20 range.

The closest I can think of is "We're not out to make a quick buck." But that doesn't seem proverbial enough for what he's trying to say, which is more like "We're not going to cut corners," or even "We're not going to take the first thing that comes along."
