Sorry if this is common knowledge, but is there a way to know if there's going to be any concerts/events from late December to early January?

exactly. i can't imagine basing liking them just for their voice because we see them/read about them so much outside of their performances.

I mostly just listen to the music. I haven't seen a full group concert since the Eri/Jun/Lin graduation.

But for members who i've considered as my favorite line up thus far, the are really bland in comparison to the current one right now....

Cute's tour ends on December 30th.
But as far as I know that's it for now.
Oh, and of course the H!P tour that starts on January 2nd.

to me even Sayu sounds fine recorded though. @.@ Depending on the song of course but... yeah.

Yeah I can be harsh with Sayu, but there are songs she sounds just fine on. She's also becoming more stable live.

She is and it makes me so proud. xD It's weird, one would think she'd be "done" by now with improving etc after having done this for 10 years. But, like Tsunku said, she keeps improving. After she turned 20, according to him, she started getting better at things again.

^ also it's good to know HelloPro winder concerts always start on January 2nd.

tbh sometimes i prefer hearing Sayu live to a lot of the other girls because even though she gets off-key and her tone is whiney, her voice doesn't waver or get caught in her throat, and she always sings with feeling. the others still have a lot of improving to do in those areas.. i think Fukuchan is the next most stable (not counting Reina of course) but depending on the song her emoting leaves something to be desired. Riho is also more stable probably because of all the practice she's getting, but when she misses a high note she REALLY misses it. at least they don't give Sayu a lot of those notes, and i think recently she's even been doing okay on the ones she does get!

so i approve of Sayu lines live, though in studio recordings i do like hearing several of the other girls more.
