There's rumours that Tsunku announced international handshake events? :S

But cant find a legitimate source...

Tsunku moves on to the real business – business that is most relevant to us foreigner fans. He announces that Morning Musume will be launching a new campaign involving mass communication/media. This may mean social media and other online networks. Tsunku does a brief interview on stage regarding this and at the end casually announces that starting this October Morning Musume will be starting a WORLD WIDE HANDSHAKE EVENT SERIES! This project is an attempt to market Morning Musume towards a larger global audience. Presumably they will be traveling to various countries and holding handshake events. Coincidentally there is a weekend in October that happens to not have concerts scheduled (10/20-10/21). Perhaps this may be the dates of the first handshake event. Specific details are still unknown, but expect more to come from the official H!P website.
