^ I can confirm that is in fact Becky.
She’s been an active talent for as long as Morning Musume has been a group. Also, she’s had a long history associated with H!P in some capacity. This time period, 2000, was about the formation of Minimoni and it lines up with her time as a member of Ohasta which is maybe why she was there? If I’m remembering the video correctly? It’s been a long time since I’ve seen it.

Ah cool, thanks. I'm passingly familiar with who she is but not nearly enough to have placed that.

And yeah, this particular episode is a Minimoni special showing a bunch of clips from earlier episodes and Morning Musume no Heso; but this isn't from either as far as I can tell. She isn't really part of the clip, she just seems to be in the studio with Tsunku when Minimoni show up to corner him.

I saw the clip in question and as soon as Becky said Oha I knew it was her during her Oha girl days.
Edit because I just did a deep dive.

So Minimoni was originally created on Hello Morning but before they had their major debut they were on Ohasta and Mika joined them and that’s why Becky was there. So the clips featuring here were from Ohasta.
