I really did love having the two of them together, but perhaps with Riho gone it will motivate Ayumi to perfect her dance. This could be a big moment for her as she used to be in the shadow of Riho and now she has room to come forward as the group's best dancer.

That dance was also created for Riho, and only a dancer like Riho could pull it off. As a dance itself it's not very good. It's more like improv gotten through feeling the emotion of the song. And even more than fluidness, that kind of dancing was always Riho's thing.

I don't think Ayumi would ever look good doing it. I think that they should rethink the choreography for that part and if they want to keep Ayumi solo dancing, give her a dance catered to her.

Edit: I guess to clarify my thoughts. I've never liked the solo dance lol Because it was so obvious catered towards Riho and her personal dance style though it worked. It's not Ayumi's fault, so rather than her changing her dancing style to fit the dance that was not written for anyone but Riho, the dance should be changed to fit her.

Wow, that Tsubaki Factory performance was amazing! Not top notch perfect yet, but they best they've ever been. They're really starting to step up their game as a group, becoming more aggressive than passive. Which is good because they need to be hungry for that major debut, or else they'll pretty much become H!P's take on Up Up Girls.

Kishimon, Kiki and Kisora totally owned that performance though. I really hope those three become way more vocally prominent in their future songs. I love RikoRiko a lot, but she seemed to be the main one lacking in that performance since she usually stands well on her own. Maru was good but not really noticeable throughout the performance over Kishimon, Kiki and Kisora. And as for Ami.... She's got a long way to go if she wants to be up to par with at least Riko.

I found every other kenshuusei performance more enjoyable than Tsubaki Factory...I really don't think this edm genre is doing them any favours or helping them improve. I mean the choreography isn't exactly challenging either? Risa has been a trainee from NGP/HP for a while she needs to show her real self soon. However, Musubu on the other hand stood out in a good way and I'm really looking forward to CG's new single.
