@_@ I swear I've been closely watching Maachan since forever, but I still don't know when she started outputting major charisma. Like she suddenly has an "it" factor to her and I don't know why.

Right? And what odd timing too cause it's not like MM's ace/center is leaving or anything Though tbh from the H!S ver of Endless Sky, after Riho, Duu seemed to be the focus center/ace, and she even got a (tiny) solo when not even Oda had a solo in the first part of the song. MaaDuu co-center anyone?

Here's my take on it;

Maa-chan always had some form of "it". The change is that previously it got channeled into whatever Maa-chan felt like channeling it into, she had very little control about it. I think this is largely alluded to back when a lot of times MM. members called Maa-chan MM.'s "secret weapon". IMO there have always been glimpses of Maa-chan being extraordinary; I hate that Wagamama is pegged as a turning point for MM (in part because it's tiring to hear over and over again even if it's true) but I think it's one of the first times Maa-chan started singing the way she wants to and there's a glimmer in her eyes throughout the PV, especially during the final chorus where she gets the "Aisaretaaaaaaai" line.

It might be pure luck/coincidence that she's channeling it into the right area as the Ace is about to leave or it might be a conscious effort on her part to fill the gap that's going to be left by RIho leaving.

I also feel like Maachan and Duu are going into this zone of just owning it currently, something about their last single was just eye-catching to both of them (and to an extent, even Eripon has caught my eye too!)

Next week 12/12, MBS Young Town radio will announce the name of Sayashi's successor on the show since Sayashi is graduating soon. They will also have a signed Morning Musume. '15 poster present to give away. Next week's guest is Tanaka Reina.

It is announced that Kudo Haruka will be the new regular on Young Town after Sayashi graduates. Double Haru (Harunan x Haruka), Harisenbon combi (ハリセンボンコンビ).

If that happens, I hope she learn to sing clearer than she normally does. Same goes with her talking; she's a great MC mostly but she has a tendency to slur and not speak clearly. So. Work on that and I'm in.

I've noticed that! When she sings she sounds... kinda garbled. Her voice is usually on point but she is bad at enunciating.
