the next issue of Young Gangan magazine will feature Suzuki Airi again this year. Her third issue this year. Included is a bonus DVD of idols featured in Young Gangan the last few months including Airi and Fukumura Mizuki. release is 10/16.

on 10/25 at 11:15pm on TV Asahi, Morning Musume. '15, Chris Hart, and May J. will be guests on Kanjani∞'s music variety program "KanJAM Kanzen Moeru SHOW", a show where Johnny's group Kanjani 8 jams and collaborate with other artists

next week, Morning Musume. '15 and two members of Kanjani8 (Shota Yasuda, Shingo Murakami) perform What is Love? 15-nin version formation dance. May J. sings with Chris Hart. its a special episode, so it will start at 10:55pm this time.

This is good. I'd like to see her get more work like this. Maimi is the action hero, Airi is the girlfriend type, and Nakky is the funny one. (Chisato is also funny, sure, but more as a talent than as an actress.)

Agreed. I'm actually pretty surprised at how natural she sounds. She gets a few more of these under her belt and she'll be very, very good. MORE DRAMAS FOR NAKKY

Whoa. I JUST realised that May J is the same May J that did the Japanese version of Let It Go. Mind blown.

Yeah thanks to that May J is arguably more popular than anybody in MM15, I think. She had an album sell almost a quarter million copies last year. I still remember when she debuted with that "All my girls all right all right" song, I just thought of her as a weaksauce knockoff of my beloved Sowelu but now it's like, Sowelu, who's that?

May J only did the pop version of Let It Go, so it's basically the same thing as what Demi Lovato did. The movie version, sung by Elsa, is covered by Matsu Takako (who did the Japanese voice of Elsa in both speaking and singing) .


I know way too much about Disney music, especially Japanese Disney dubs, please don't mind me being pedantic...

Today it was announced that Suzuki Airi will continue to be the image character of Suzunoya brand Kimonos for 2017 styles. They received a great response so they'll bring her back for a second year.
