Meimi is going to always end up with those harder to play parts that are never main character I think. Like in Lilium. Here as well her grandmother character is phenomenal. Anyone who came in halfway would have no idea she was doing both parts.

But really I'd be happy to see her anywhere. I know she loves the stage, but she could be big on TV.

She has a very distinctive, "babyfaced" look that I think wouldn't work well in television or film. Too many closeups.

On stage, however, where she has some distance from the audience, her face isn't as important as her voice and body language. Those are her strengths.

And I think she knows this. Notice how she almost always puts on her serious face for photos these days. Sure, that's fine for still photos for covers and goods, but as soon as she has to perform, out comes the babyface again. She can't help it.

on 5/18 (9pm Prime Time), C-ute Nakajima Saki will make an appearance on the TBS drama "Tsuri Keiji 6" starring Ishikawa Rika. Nakky will play the role of Rika's sister.
