Since they've already released footage including live vocals and whatnot, it seems silly for "this was first" to be the reasoning behind overlaying a recording. It's not as if some of them being bad/mediocre is a big secret.
Anyway - hopefully next week we'll get some kind of preview for the other song, and maybe something to do with the new unit (even if it isn't a name reveal). I'd like to feel like I'm not skipping over half of "Hello! Station" sometimes.

yeah I feel the same way. when we heard the concert recording they sounded fine, so hopefully thats not the DVD version. atm it seems like they're probably saving the other a-side promotions until closer to the release date since the release got pushed back. hopefully we at least get a performance though soon aye.

Hey. At least they said that it WAS a recording put over the actual perf. Made me lol a bit, considering what Hashimoto Shin said in the previous (was it?) MUSIC+ episode about H!P fans. They were probably aware of that people would bitch about it not being live so, just to make sure that they KNEW what they were doing, they had Tomoko spell it out to us; it was the recording put over a perf, a bit like a music video.

The more episodes of this I see, the more it feels like Yaguchi Hitori / How To Monkey Baby. Except that Hitori (Gekidan) somehow got split into two guys — one the "character", the other the comedian — and became much less entertaining in the process.
