I don't know if it's said that this is for a single or not? If not, then that's fine. But I wouldn't want that song for them as a single since it'd be too risky imo.

Isn't that the point of this contest? To find a new songwriter for C-ute's next single?

C-ute has done A LOT of risky, tbh. Like releasing Kono Machi (lol jk), and MaiNakky doing pole dancing (Which had a mix of negative and positive reactions). I'd love for C-ute to start experimenting, that's what they need right now before they start losing their momentum. Experimenting shows what they can work on, what they're good at, and how they can improve.

Kono machi was before their momentum, so that's not on the same scale.
And performing one way or another doesn't equal to releasing a single? Hardly the same thing nor does it bring the same exposure.

Experimenting isn't what works in Japan if you wanna keep to be at the top. There's a reason for why everything most hit artists release all sounds very, very similar. Because that's what keeps them popular and what sells.
I'm not against Cute experimenting, I want them to too. But not on such a high level as a-sides to a single. Far too risky for my liking. They've done it a lot in b-sides before and that works just fine.

I was kidding on the Kono Machi part xD. On the pole dancing part, they did feature it in MV, but yeah it's not as big as releasing a whole single.

And that's what sucks. It's just like hearing the same things on music channels and radios all of the time. I want C-ute to be unique, and they seem to have a strong fanbase, so as long as the song is actually good, gets a decent MV and gets good promotion, I don't feel like Ai no Continuous would flop or anything. It sounds like something C-ute would release, anyways.

After coming from I miss You, Ai no Continuous would be a perfect follow up single in my opinion. And I feel like it's the only song out of the four that would show of C-ute's dance moves, too.

While it is pretty risky, I kinda trust C-ute (and management) with being a little risky and using different styles.

I don't care about them being on top, I care about them releasing good material.
So if they experiment and it comes out good, then fuck the charts and sales. :P

1. Doesn't even sound like it was written with a group in mind.
2. Needs more energy, but is the most interesting of the four to me.
3. Meh.
4. The one I have the least hope for.

I actually like all of them >.>

But I could hear number 2 being sung by C-ute, so maybe that one. Number one was great though and I kinda want it to win.

Just do all four <,<

Number 2 is also the best out of the four for me when it comes to C-ute. I could definitely see them singing it.

I probably should watch the full thing to see if it answers this question, but I'm assuming that these aren't going to be the final versions of the songs and they're going to be edited more. Which, honestly, I think with some editing 2 could be a really good C-ute song.

3 and 4 are definite no's for me though. They are not bad songs at all, just not right.

Editing will definitely make everything better. As will real instruments.

For a concert song I like #2 and #3. They sound like good, every one get up and have some fun type dances. Overall I'd pick #2.
