I'm not sure that comparing Miki to Junjun and Linlin receiving lessons is the same. Junjun and Linlin needed to speak Japanese to be able to do their job, communicate and understand with staff members whereas Miki doesn't really need to speak English and I'm pretty sure that as far as the company is concerned, her English is good enough.

That's not to say she won't get English lessons, but as I see it, she doesn't necessarily need them.

And it's a matter of what they want for the company. If expanding their reach to an international audience is their goal then giving English lessons to Miki would be considered important.

If they are really serious about having her as their English speaking mascot they will pay for English classes so she can continue to improve.

I know she has gone back to New Zealand but she will be back in Japan again soon, she has gone for a year to study English and now that year is almost up.
I had just read the post quickly at first and thought they had announced a new group for when she comes back, I will just turn off my laptop now and cry myself to sleep.
