[11/26] Michishige Sayumi graduated from Morning Musume. '14 at Yokohama Arena

Thank goodness I work overnight so I'm usually awake this time anyway instead of waking up early/stayed up late.

That was so solid and very emotional. The video at the end was really cool too.

Damn... you know for a girl who was battling for the least favorite member of mine her first two years she ends up being the one girl who's concert I stream live. Who knew I'd feel that way about the girl with the giant mirror in her purse?

Sayumi embodies everything right with Momusu and what it's all about. I watched this brat girl grow into the elegent, amazing, responsible leader she is today. It was like saying farewell to a friend even though I've known her for 4,329 days and her of I for probably 4.329 seconds. I'm glad I saw this and I'm glad and proud to be a fan of Morning Musume.

Thank you Sayumi. I wish you nothing but the absolute best.

I just watched all of the members messages to Sayu.

Unexpectedly I cried through almost the entire thing. I didn't even know it was happening. Tears just rolled down my face.

I have NEVER cried during a graduation like that... Not even for Aichan my favorite member of all MoMusu history.

Maybe I have to revise that title?

Also I am super happy that MIZUKI is leader!!! The girl who believed she failed the 9th gen auditions and then was surprised upon her announcement... The girl who loves H!P arguably more than anyone else in the world... She really derves this. I hope she leads H!P one day too. First MM next all of H!P! She's up in line after C-ute graduates, and after 1st gen s/mileage.

And it's really satisfying that Eripon got sublead. She may not be center (ever...) but she now has a position of importance within the group. She's no longer just a regular "back girl". I, like the media, am excited to see how Erina develops through her time in Morning Musume. Perhaps she will grow into a Sayu.

I'm pretty excited that 3nin got baptized into s/mileage. I want to see that performance so badly. I'm sure it's around somewhere! I'm gonna go look for it now.
