I guess this means the next Hello! Project leader might be Maimi.
I love Maimi, but it's kinda sad to see that the person everyone was hoping to be leader might not be able to. Of course, Shimizu can also be leader for 3-5 months... :S
Holy crap, wow... It did feel like the last year or so was Berryz chance to try and prove themselves, but I didn't think an announcement would be so sudden.
And what does it mean for the girls? At least if they call it a graduation there's a sad but celebratory feeling to it and the girls go on to other things and maybe stay with UF, but what does it mean to be indefinte hiatus? Will the girls just be floating around in H!P? Does it mean they might be splitting up into different groups like theorized once before here as being a good idea? Unless it's something like that (where the girl will be put in different groups) wouldn't it had just been better to say the will be graduating?
Since at least 2008, I've been used to seeing people "joke" on 2ch about Momochi's graduation being announced... this is just such a shock, as I didn't expect anything like tht for another couple years.
I am hoping hiatus doesn't equate to graduation, and they are put into new groups with some KSS or some Elder Club type thing
