さゆ、リーダー２周年を、時折、涙ぐみながら振り返る、感動の挨拶。

「ちょうど２年前のきょう、リーダーになりました。憧れのリーダーになったけど、緊張とプレッシャーに押し潰されそうに。
　でも、１年目は同期のれいながいたから、何とかやってこれました
れいながいなくなって、10年以上いるメンバーが私だけになって、緊張とプレッシャーで、毎日、吐きそうでした。
　でも、振り返ったら、９人の頼もしい後輩がいました
最初は頼りなかった９人も、顔立ちがしっかりしてきて、今では頼もしい後輩たちです。
　人は信頼できる人がいるから頑張れます。後輩、スタッフさん、そして、ファンの皆さんです

この10人のモーニング娘。が好きだよって言ってくれる人がいるから、

私はモーニング娘。リーダーになって良かったと思います

Today is exactly 2 years since Sayu became Leader. In Osaka's concert today she talked about it in her greetings, the gist of it...

「I became the Leader exactly 2 years ago now. Even though I finally become the Leader that I aspired to be before, I was so nervous and the pressure felt like it could crush me anytime.

But during my first year, my generation mate Reina was there with me so somehow I managed.
With Reina gone, I became the only one left who's been at this group for over 10 years. Every day I feel like I could throw up.

But looking back, I have nine trustworthy kouhais now,
Even though they were unreliable at the beginning, they look so reliable and they have become completely dependable kouhais now.
People can do their best when they have others they can trust and rely upon. For me they are my kouhais, the staffs, and every one of the fans.

It's because there are people who would say that they loved these 10 members of Morning Musume,
I can say now that I'm very glad that I became Morning Musume's Leader」

She elaborated a bit more on her blog as well. How the kouhais she only thought of as cute at the beginning can now be reliably be depended upon and worthy of her trust now. Also stressed her gratitude to the staffs who supported Morning Musume and the fans reassuring presence. She said she believes in everyone and from the bottom of her heart feels so happy and blessed to be the Leader of Morning Musume.
