What about being in middle school stopped them? Did their age make it illegal? Do they have more free time now?

In middle school they aren't allowed to skip classes etc, they're required to attend every day (unless sick ofc), but when in high school that's doable since it's not mandatory in any sense. They still have to go and all of course, but they're allowed to actually be out of school more now (probably with much more homework though).

Didn't Riho appear solo on a number of TV-shows before?

She was, but not that many. I assume those were recorded on weekends/afternoons and most likely the scheduling was a bitch. But, like I said, with being in high school now, it's easier to put them out there because they can go to a recording at noon whatever day.

the producer of NHK Music Japan says that he was so impressed with Morning Musume. '14's 55 Special medley and especially Be Alive. He says the special will be re-airing for two nights at the end of April on the regular NHK channel for the general public to see. The air time is shorter, but they won't shorten the performance. air date TBA.

Finally watched that medley.

Holy shit, these girls are perfect. They're all such great performers and I just feel so happy watching them. I love every single member. This is the first time since I became a fan that I've felt that the group was this good and cohesive. Yes, I liked the other lineups, but there was always someone who I couldn't warm to. But with '14 there's nobody like that.

Everyone as "their" Morning Musume。, and I'm 100% sure that this is mine.

(Not that I dislike previous lineups, but I've never been as passionate about MM。as a whole group than I have with '14.)

I feel like I am one of the only fans who can't decide on what era they liked the most. Golden, Platinum or Colorful. They all have their fair shares of good songs, great singers (although '14 is a little behind.), great dancers (Except for maybe some Golden era girls.), and great personalities. So I just support MM. as a whole ❤️.
