As for those Chance promo outfits, I'm not 100% sure, but I remember seeing footage of them wearing those outfits while performing Wakuteka Take a Chance. I think they're underneath the card outfits. They might have changed that, but at one point, they were using them.

...well, they never used to, then. I wish they had - Rival Survival, Platinum 9 disco etc was amazing.
Thankfully they didn't use pikapika either. And as far as I can remember, not DX either?

^ They did use the purple DX outfits at the beginning of the tour, but they changed it when Only You was added to the setlist. They aren't on the DVD.

It's at 19:55. But I also see them dancing in those outfits to Help Me, so it was changed (either they added more outfit changes or they took them out).

Hm. Makes me wonder why they started doing that. I'd say budget, but that wouldn't make sense, since they obviously had less budget during platinum era where they didn't use the outfits they used for promo.
Oh well. If they're doing that, let's hope they never get awful promo pics again.

Which rival survival outfits did they not use? I remember them using all the promo outfits am I imagining things?

They didn't use the green military outfits that were on the tickets and promo images? Unless that's another case of "used it in the beginning but not later" etc.

It's fairly common. I'd say Colorful Character is the exception, not the rule.

As far as I know, Berryz didn't use their white promo outfits for their REAL tour, just on the tickets and DVD Magazine etc. as well as those checkered outfits for their Budokan concert So yeah, seems to be more common that the promo outfits don't get used in the tour, but occasionally they do.
