With the exception of Chisato, I'm okay with Captain and Rinapuu getting solos again since its not like they're really all that apt to get solos on their own merit. Plus Captain's performance of Dearest... is what really made me love her.

And the second video was one of first times in a long time I saw Berryz really act as a "group" in a while. It was cute. On the other hand S/mileage did seem really disjointed and seemed to not know how to act even though they should've been most excited with 4/6 of them getting solos.

And they might add a solo spot exclusively for J=J to one of the shows. That's what they did last year when MM. struck out and that's how Reina ended up getting her solo performance. We'll see though since Tsoonk wasn't immediately available to make a decision right away.

Solos I'm most excited to see:
Kudo: because she's one we're less likely to see a solo from
Airi: because she's perfect and who cares that she's had 108858478 solo performances already. She's Airi.
Meimi: hopefully she picks a song where she can power-vocal her way through and not some typical H!P idol song
Captain: not the greatest vocalist but she's a damn good performer

Solos I'm Meh about:
Kanon: we know she's capable. That is all.
Rinapuu: hopefully her solo stage presence has gotten better

Not looking forward to:
Take-chan: she's going to scream-sing her whole way through
Chisato: she's great comic fodder and she'll do a great job but this is an instance where I agree that the solo would've gone to better use to a backgirl (like Maimai even though in relative terms Maimai and Nakky are still more front girls than most backgirls) or to a girl in J=J. That being said hopefully Chisato chooses a song that fits her tone of voice and she doesn't have mic issues this time around.


Ps:
In MM's reaction talk Eripon said she was excited to do "full chorus" (all the songs will be song in full, no shortened songs we typically see) because if she has a line, even a letter like in 123, they're likely to be in the second part of songs so she wants to take advantage of that and really shine. Alumni was gonna say the same thing and Riho nodded along in agreement and that's why all the girls ganged up on Riho because if anyone doesn't need the second choruses to shine even more its Riho.

Oh, and Sakura said she's worried if she still remembers choreography for the full songs since they rarely perform non-new single songs in full but lezbereal even if she/they didn't they'll go through practice and rehearsals so she'll be fine.
