They're really going to have to be careful to prevent overlap with H!S going forward.
If it's just the same type of content on both shows, that's not much of an incentive to also watch it on both of them.

I get why they do it: it's cheap and they're usually recording this stuff anyway.
But with a show called 'Girls Live' you'd think this would be a great opportunity to refocus H!S towards different content.
Or rather, the type of content H!S would have featured before they changed it after the first few episodes.

The two shows have different target audiences, I think, and therefore might package the same content differently. Hello! Station is obviously for fans, so it might focus seriously on the rehearsals and performances with no jokes and minimal commentary, while The Girls Live can still snag channel-surfing non-fans, so it might focus on the members with lots of commentary.

Wow.

Riho did a lot better with Jishin Motte than I expected. Her tone of voice fit really well with the song. And I find it endearing when singers occasionally forget lines. It humanizes them in a way.

And Airi did just as perfectly as expected. Is it weird that I can imagine her confident smirk/audience-camera flirting as she sings it? Because that's totally what I'm picturing.

That worried me too when I saw the format, maybe it means Hello Station will change it's content. I kind of hope it goes back to Yajima and Chinami playing golf...the rate they were going they're probably still playing that round now.
