Both originally did not have any marriage plans at all, abe totally left marriage up to Takahashi to decide. After dating for 1 year or so, when they went to a fortune teller to look at their future together, they were told "Extremely compatible. Very suited to be a family" the couple became slightly more curious and decided to go seek other fortune tellers as well. Out of 3, all said "Your marriage would go well together." With such positive comments that was when Takahashi said "Wanna get married?" Which made them think more about marriage. Abe was the one who got shocked. That was possibly the point where the couple's minds began to merge as one.
