2ch is not the mainstream. The mainstream, almost by definition, needs time and repetition to catch on. So be thankful for the attention. (Get it? "Chuumoku"? Har!)

If anything, the reports are getting even more laudatory and in-depth. They're going from "ooo, formations!" to "y'know, this isn't typical idol dancing, this is some pro-level stuff".

I think this latest clip is the most exciting for me for that reason. They're not just going look they're doing formation dance. They've broken a few things down to explain to people WHY this shit is harder than it used to be and why MM should be applauded for it.

Also, what makes me the most excited about it is... that MM's tour ended two weeks ago. Their single is coming out next week. They didn't even mention Morning Musume. '14.
And still they brought up Morning Musume. <3 Just for the sake of talking about their dancing. Most of the time it's been related to a single ranking/concert starting or ending. But this was "random" and absolutely awesome. More of this plz. Here's hoping Mezamashi (or ZIP but I think it'll be Fuji TV) does one of those "behind the scenes" for the upcoming single and "get their hands on the new PV first!" like they did with Wagamama.

OK, about KSS. Even at 12, Rikako is a freaking pro. At least, based on that PV, as far as being an idol goes, she 100% nails it. She doesn't just nail it, she "gets" it. She comes off like the Riho of KSS. I didn't really notice Ruru one way or another, can't say she annoyed me. The girl (Karen?) to Rikako's right (our left) needs to slouch less. And none of those girls can do that trumpet shimmy the way that Kanatomo can.

I didn't notice Ruru's facial expressions, but her dancing actually bothered me a bit. She looked pretty stiff/awkward. It didn't help that she was in-between Rikako and Murotan (both strong dancers). It's not a big deal, though.

Morning Musume is #57 on Billboard Japan Awards Top Pop Artists of the year ranking. they are right in the middle of the rankings. thankfully, not at the bottom of the rankings. they are not the artist of the year.
