The rumor was that Masaya had left a serious relationship with a female entertainer (where there was an assumption it would lead to marriage) in order to be with Yaguchi. It did receive some commentary from 2ch as well as English forums, but the consensus was that it "wasn't as bad" since there was no marriage involved. Many view what Yaguchi did as worse and more condemnable because of the monogamous nature of marriages for the most part as well as the all around deceptiveness she exhibited.

Frankly, I was a big Yaguchi fan but, while her other scandals were excusable in one way or another, this one blew the ship out of the water for me. I'll follow her news to see how it goes, but I won't be heartbroken if she never reclaims her tarento throne.

im pretty sure when we were voting for the song none of us had the intention of getting DMM (without Yaguchi, and this will probably spark Yaguchi talk by the hosts) on the show.

i guess its promotion, but if this works out negatively this could really hurt MM's current image.
