Whoever said something like that must have not been paying attention. Reina is good, but compared to how promising a lot of the others were even like a year ago (also considering the differences in experience between them and Reina), it's not like the group really depended on her vocal abilities.

Reina's grad was announced after Sakura joined the group anyway lol. I'm sure someone said it, and I'm sure I even thought it but that was before they did things like Help Me! and changed the formula so that thought died pretty quickly.
But that's always the case though. Once Sayumi graduates the group will become chaos because Sayumi's a perfect leader and without her the group can't do... something. I'm sure, things like that will always happen lol.

I'll always be fighting tooth and nail against the very idea of that graduation but even I don't hold any illusion of MM falling apart without my perfect leader
It'll be somewhat detrimental in a few areas yeah( hell I was just watching the first part of MM's appearance on shabekuri007 while typing this and they pretty much illustrate this point for me perfectly so there you have it lol), just like every other graduation, and put a dampener on the current momentum which I think would be beyond stupid but other than that it'll be business as usual I suppose.

On the other hand I was never that worried about MM's singing abilities post Reina in the first place though

That sort of talk's pretty much traditional already whenever someone graduates. You'd think people would be used to things changing by now, though.

I figured that the cycle of new generations and graduations is actually tougher on the girls than it is with fans like us because it's they who have to adjust and take over. Makes me appreciate what they do a lot more.

On Topic: I hope to be able to download the 07/28 day concert rip. I haven't heard Yuke Yuke Monkey Dance live for sometime, the dormant Berryz fan in me is stirring up.
