Hmm, I don't see Airi as scrawny at all. She's just a slender-framed woman, but she has well developed legs, not chicken bones. About them not looking at each other, that seems to me to be a deliberate directorial choice, to make clear that the song is about the singer and the listener, and not meant to be a kind of GAMmy thing where they're flirting with each other.

Overall, I liked the PV, and their voices, but the song itself didn't really impress me all that much. I have a very low tolerance for that type of Grease sounding music. I put up with Rock n' Roll Kenchoushozaichi because of Aichan but even still.

Kanashiki Heaven was a duet done perfectly. Airi and Chisato are girls with different looks as well, and they weren't flirting with each other in the video but you feel there's chemistry. When I watch the performances of it, I don't even consider it a duet because the three other girls seem like such essential parts of the song as well, even if they're just dancing.

Lady Mermaid should have had shorter and fewer shots of the girls side by side. I think that's my issue with it.

The thing is, even in still shots like the pic above, I still see no chemistry.

I'm actually really excited about this. Even though Masaki isn't a favourite of mine, I reckon her voice will work really well with Karin's.

Also... has Masaki's skin always been that dark, or is it just that Karin is really pale?
