Oh I'm not fooled by her KYness at all. Girl is smart and thinks quickly. She knows how to get attention and how to deal with it. She didn't at first but she's really good at it now. She got her character down. Now I just hope the rest grows like that too.

I agree Haruka seems to be holding back somehow.

Tsunku has said as much a few times as well hasn't he? That she lacks confidence in her singing or something.

She'll improve in that respect naturally...assuming she ever gets to actually sing again. I think that's one of the things that will improve with practice.

Maybe. Just saying that while she has improved since 2012 for example, she still lacks the personality she needs. She'll never be a front girl in the group (neither will Kanon etc) and while that's all because of various reasons, this is one of those things that shows why. And I'm not hating or whatever, Kanon and Haruna lacks it too. Even Masaki to a certain extent. Erina has gotten really good at it lately for some reason lol.

Jumping on this, as much as I love 10th gen (and omg I do love them), I don't think ANY of them have hit that "awesome to watch on stage" thing yet. None. Not Ayumi, Not Masaki, Not Haruna, Not Haruka. 9th gen have just starting hitting it to me though (Riho is amazing on stage, though I think she needs a few more years to really be Aichan-like, Mizuki is starting to embrace her sexier side, Eripon is getting much MUCH better at stage presence, and Kanon is very energetic - though she does still need some work). Though overall, Reina and Sayu are carrying the group stage presence wise. I do hope that with Reina leaving, it gets the younger girls in gear. There can be a fight for Reina spot if you say there's one girls, fight for it!

Riho has surpassed Sayu on stage presence. "No way", you may say, but it's easy to see, Riho stands out, not only because she's center, but because she performs in a way that it's hard not to look at her. She just owns the stage. Same with Reina (specially for her singing).

Sayu does have better facial expressions, but does she stand out on performances? Yeah, not really.

Maybe this is biased as well but even though some girls are way in the back, they stand out more than some of the front girls.
I mean, when watching recent concerts I couldn't keep my eye of Muzuki and Kanon, they really stand out with their stage presence in my opinion!
