^Because you are most probably required to sing, and sadly that isn't Sayu's forte...

Anyway, I guess Duu wanted to be a prince, but she's stuck in the pricess role. Since she can be a cute girl or a hot guy, it makes no difference, we all win

Sayu never really expressed any interest in stage plays or acting, I think I remember her mentioning it before on young town to Sanma that she usually turned down those kind of offers a few years back (around her web movie with ishihara satomi iirc)

Besides, stage plays requires her to sing
