And I was the same way about coffee, but just a little helps to cut the sweetness of the chocolate (even dark chocolate) and add some complexity to the flavor of the drink. It’s the same reason why bakers add espresso powder to chocolate cakes and brownies.

What’s funny is that I was telling my coworker about mixing our coffee with the Swiss Miss we had because it’s amazing and here I come and you guys are talking about it.

For a while, I was going off in a differnt direction with instant cocoa drink mix - I was using the Kroger house brand mix, and adding straight, unsweetened baking cocoa powder, along with a considerable amount of that dry peanut meal that's being sold as "instant peanut butter". It was actually pretty good, and I'm kind of in the mood for some more...

Haha! I was just saying how much our coffee at work sucks. They literally have a coffee pot that’s older than me. I was leaving work early today and a guy came in and set up this Industrial company size Keurig machine. No more Swiss coffee for me!

K-cups are bad for the environment.

I don't really like hot chocolate at all. It's too sweet for me. Hot mocha at Starbucks is fine, but it's often too sweet for me at a lot of other places.

They installed a Keurig machine a month or two ago at work - it included some reusable basket/K-cups, which I was glad to see, because I don't like the idea of piling up use-once-and-throw-away bits of plastic.
I tried it a few times with some good fine-grind french roast, but I just couldn't make it strong enough (I need ultra-strong coffee + ginseng in the office just to stay awake ), so now I'm back to crappy generic freeze-dried (which I can make strong enough to keep just about anything awake).

Coffee aside. I just got home today from the dentist. Got two teeth pulled because I’m starting Invisalign. Voluntarily having teeth pulled is the worst. Damn my mouth for being small!

I asked my parents why they didn’t torture me with this when I was younger and neither one could give me an answer. It’s not like we were poor. My olisister has braces. I was just ignored. It’s not like insurance covers adult orthodontist stuff. Kids yes, but if you’re an adult you’re paying out of pocket. Thanks folks!

I’ve been waiting years for this. I only need to suffer with my new caps for two years.
