In light of recent events, Time to speculate.
No Kita Rio Announcement on 1st of the month, so her contract did not end on June 30th. Some say it's because of the HULU show.
The Oda grad announcement came a week early on the day which should have given us Kita Rio's fate.
Niina Joins J=J in a surprise announcement, so no Uta-hime replacement for Oda.
These two seemingly rushed announcements make be believe that there is a bomb about to be dropped in the H!P-verse.
No Oda grad in the fall means that J=J Yoko Arena is a done deal
The Niina news and Oda news makes me tend to lean Kitagawa returning to MM.

I’m highly speculating a winter J=J graduation now that Niina is in a group that honestly didn’t need anyone added. Be it Ruru, Rei or Risa. One of them is next to go in my eye. Not that I want any of them to go, but you don’t need to add the ace KSS to a group unless you are expecting someone to eventually leave.


After Ikuta leaves I expect a summer H!P auction with focus on Morning and Angerme. Maybe the others if they find someone of note.

Their lack of news on Kitagawa is killing me. Just and my misery please!

H!P Audition announcement is bound to happen at the summer con in a couple of weeks.
I am really worried about who leaves from Juice though... I expect it and I'm super scared it'll be Rei T__T My absolute favorite in all of current H!P. But I would love it if we were proven wrong and no one leaves

If we don't hear anything about Rio this week, she's not returning for the graduation. Which would be fine, I guess. But I just... want to hear that she's returning.

I always joked to myself that Arisawa Ichika is going to graduate at 30 years old kicking and screaming, but the way MM is going, Haga Akane might beat her to it.

Stability queen aka Kitario has to come back, MM desperately needs vocalists. And if she doesn't return, let's bring KSS like Momoha into the group. Miki has a good voice but isn't stable live. Mei has a powerful voice and is like a well-tuned Maachan, but her voice can sound very shrill at times. Haruka is good but her voice still lacks power, and none of the rest can fill the void left by Sakura the witch.

Speaking of leadership, I think Miki will stay until the end of 2026, and Maria will take over as the new leader after that. I think Reina will graduate this year or next; she has nothing else to do in the group. I think Akane will stay as long as she can as her beloved Mizuki, so she will eventually become leader.

I think Maria should graduate. All she talks about is Baseball, Baseball, Baseball and Aaron Judge, I'm tired of it.

Maria gave the group a few performances at a few baseball games in stadiums and photobooks, but thats it.

I want Maria to make it to leadership before considering graduation.
Though it seems very unlikely she will, looking at both Age and Tenure. Maria turns 25 next year and including KSS tenure she has been in H!P for 12 years just right behind Odango who has been around for 13. After Odango leaves I won’t be surprised if Maria then announces her graduation afterwards

I agree, she's also one of the weakest vocally. When Ikuta leaves, she'll be the one with the lowest vocal level, along with Reina. Those two should go; they've already reached their limit in the group and have nothing new to offer. However, I think she'll stay to be the leader just like Sayumi, remember she's her mini me.

So much hate

I’m not Maria or Reina’s biggest fan but, they definitely add their value to the group in other ways. Maria, just like Ikuta said somewhere lately, is one of those that probably bring in the most new fans even if just because of her baseball and visuals and random appearances everywhere. She can’t sing tho so I wouldn’t mind not giving her any more solo lines.

I personally really wanna see Reina as leader. I feel like she’d be really good at keeping the group together. Nonaka will probably do this really well too. But Reina would probably be even better tbh. One day, maybe.

Not everyone has to be a vocal ace or an amazing dancer. They need the middle-management and the glue that hold them together, too. Which it sounds like both Nonaka and Reina are really good at.

Maria is photobook queen now especially with Fuku gone. Will be interesting to see who’ll be the next one. Just in terms of “roles” in the group, unless we get a new visual queen she’s got a reason to stay for a bit.

I think Maria is rather popular among Japanese fans, and that probably matters the most.

Nonaka and Yokoyama leader + subleader combo would be really fun, and we might actually get to see it.

But somehow, I already imagine MM led by Hirai and Yumigeta. They give this “modern and cool but down to earth” vibe, reminding me a lot of many OG members when they joined.
