After all to the fifth generation, every year there was a new generation. After that is spaced 2 years, and then we spent 3 years without a new generation.

Who will do cry little girls ... Yoko-sensei or Yoshiko-sensei or Natsu Mayumi-sensei lol.

Regardless of what or who joins, there's gonna be additional buzz with yet another release. I mean they had the 50th single, Sakura's first single, Reina's graduation single, and now soon a 12 gen single and the inevitable Sayumi graduation single. A lot of milestones and such going on to keep that attention on Momusu, which is a good thing.

I think there will be one single post-Reina before the new member...
But yeah. It's totally smart marketing.

-Brainstorming/Kimi Sae (Reina grad single)
-Reina graduates
-14th album
-12th gen members announced
-54th single
-12th gen debut single (55th)
-Sayu graduation announcement
-56th single
-Sayu's graduation single (57th)
-15th album (?)
-58th single

I'm not saying I want Sayu to graduate that soon (like, in a year and a half), but I can see it happening.

An album would be great, too. But it wouldn't really keep them in the spotlight of the media... A good PR-trick for 54th would be nice.
Assuming (lol) that the 53rd now will get #1 again, it would be really nice to see them do that with 54th too.
54th is probably due July/August though, if they're gonna go by their usual pattern. And the earliest we'd see the new member is probably August. So... one single before the new girl/s take part probably. Which should be fine.

Not that it's likely, considering they're probably gonna start recording it soon. But still.
I do hope we get the announcement on the H!P con. That would mean we'd get 12th gen for fall already. 8D

Maybe. I'm not sure -- it depends on when they're announced. My guess is Sayu grad announcement on the first day of the H!P summer concert and 12th gen member announcement on the last day.

YAY for new auditions. I'm loving that, since 9ki members joined, Tsunku realized that Morning Musume is about getting new members constantly. I really want 4 new people to join in again, so MM gets huuuge lol.
