Out of all the KSS, Momoha and Itsuki were the most likely to debut, so I'm not surprised that they did. I am surprised that neither was added to MM. I think a lot of people were expecting at least Momoha to be added to MM (my unserious theory was that she would be added to fill in the Fukuoka gap left by Eripon). Also, I was hoping more KSS would get to debut (my current favourite is Hikari) but I'm sure more will debut once the audition is completed.

One of my theory’s is that they want to put some KSS in but they are all so young that they want a few older girls to offset them. Sorta like a 4/5th gen 9/10th gen situation. Momoha in Angerme seems weird but they sort of needed to fill the big Kamiko gap and figured Momoha could pull it off. I feel bad for Hana and the other girl whom I can never remember her name.

Fun fact: Momoha was born after the formation of S/mileage, so that "the group has been around longer than its members" thing ain't just for MM anymore.

I am shocked that you are surprised. There is a 0% chance that the best performance winner gets into MM. There ain't no way, AND THE ROCK MEANS NO WAY, that a KSS that is more than MID gets put in MM.

I'm always happy when a girl joins ANGERME.
Having just seen the AMeRiKa reunion photo reminds me how since 2nd gen they've always been so welcoming to newcomers.
Not that other groups aren't perfectly pleasant, just that with ANGERME it's in their DNA.

I mean just look at the OG's welcoming Momoha.

I'm used to ANGERME adding new members practically every year so I feel almost nothing about this, but I'm kind of about another member added to Tsubaki. (Mainly cause I feel like Ishii, Murata, and Doi have only been there for 30 seconds.)

I'm very underwhelmed with these additions. I'm glad about them - single gen to Tsubaki is a first! - but, damn so underwhelming. Two girls added and an announcement of audition that's way too late imo.
They're trying hard with the arena and all, but nothing about this announcement of the KSS are really surprising.

Remember Fukumura being added to 9ki last second? Something like that would be fun. Nothing like this that's so easy to predict or guess. v.v

Tsubaki Factory didn't need a new member. Even if Ami and Saniko graduate it's going to take time for them to file out at a max of 2 singles a year unless grads start happening without singles again or 2 double grads happen. (please release more than 2 singles a year or do something else???) I can understand the thought process of ANG getting Momoha because they lost Rikako and Moe but I didn't really think they needed a new member either. At the same time I feel relieved it's only one member for those groups because a few years ago I think they would have stuffed in more.

Overall it just makes me . I'm not satisfied with how things are being run right now and the music isn't connecting with me either.
