It is basically a “CM” for a hair coloring product, highlighting hairstyle of idols in different era.

She looks more like Kudo Shizuka in the 2nd one, but Shizuka didn't look like that in 1985. (Honda Minako nor Nakamori Akina looked like that in 1985 too.) I think the guy took some artistic licence with that year.

The first one could also be a bit of combination of Okada Yukiko and Matsuda Seiko. She was VERY big in the 80s. Her hairstyle was a big fashion statement. A lot of idols copied it.

You're probably right re: it being Seiko and not Yukiko.

The lyrics give hints to who she's playing too; I'd definitely say it's Matsuda Seiko followed by Kudo Shizuka.

The hair and the outfit in the second segment are so completely late-80s/early-90s Shizuka! So they fudged the dates a bit, but it was worth it to get that early Shizuka look.

All of them are basically pretty close to perfect in terms of overall look-and-feel ("Do we have enough bright colors?" "It's Moritaka! You can never get enough bright color!" / "Do we have enough not-quite-explained schoolgirl drama?" "It's AKB! You can never get enough not-quite-explained schoolgirl drama!" / "Do we have any bright colors left after Moritaka?" "It's Kyary! We can crank up all the pastels to 12!"), and of course, the MoMusu part worked beautifully on so many levels.

Mano’s journey begins in the early 80s as Seiko Matsuda, rocking her wavy locks that became a fashion staple.

The other 80s idol selected is Shizuka Kudo, besides her many hits from day 1 she has always been known for her beautiful long hair.

Entering the next decade in 1990, Mano transforms into Chisato Moritaka wearing a flashy outfit and playing tribute to the singers bangs.

The former Hello!Project member next transforms into God (Maki Goto), choosing her short blonde hair seen in”LOVE MACHINE”. Many credible sources cite Goto’s debut as the most important moment in Earth’s history, even surpassing the planet’s “birth” 4.5 billion years ago.

Next Mano becomes a member of AKB48. Wearing their signature high-school inspired uniform she sports a simple but cute black hairstyle.

Lastly, Mano takes inspiration from Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. Taking “kawaii” to a new level she’s seen sporting pink hair along with a hair bow.
