All the preview we got is not bad, but they do sound more mainstream which can be both good and bad.

Ok so far The Middle Management is by FAR my favorite A-Side. Just to make clear tho... Tsugi no Kado wo Magare is a beautiful song. I love it too. But the Middle Management is so much more Tsunku and so much more H!P and just to me very C-ute. I absolutely love it. Its one of my favorite C-ute songs already.

I think having both Takui and Tsoonk (and some others now too) writing songs for H!P will only mean great things. If they all write songs for a single, I'm thinking that the competitive aspect of it (the desire to have your song be the A-side) will bring out the best of their abilities. It's like when the WWE had WCW to compete with, the quality of their programming stepped up.

So far, it seems to be working great (though Takui didnt necessarily write this song for C-ute), with Tsoonks comeback song being a pretty awesome rebuttle lol.

The Middle Management is what I've been missing! Oh, Tsunku, I'm so happy you're back. Damn, this is really scratching that itch.

I like Takui, He seems to have a really good ear for music and I honestly wouldn't mind if he stepped in more so Tsunku could rebuild his strength (Or maybe even STAY hired from now on) but he can't play with music the way Tsunku does. That weirdness of his compositions come from Tsunku constantly turning music on it's heel and turning into something unexpected. Takui makes wonderful songs though, I just want Tsunku here for as long as I can get him. I think Tsunku is a genius composer. I know someone else did the music for this, but it still sounds really Tsunku so I wonder if he had a hand in it.

Takui I'm enjoying so far though. I like both songs.

GamushaLIFE is under pressure to be just as amazing.

No, AyuHikaru noted that he knows Tsunku did the lyrics, but I also think that Tsunku probably put atleast SOME input and then just let the actual composer(s) do their thing while taking into consideration his ideas. For example, if he wrote the lyrics before they did the composition, it's possible that he told them how he wants it to sound like (what instruments to put in, etc.) but wasn't actually fully part of the process (as in be there when they recorded the instruments/mixing) or if the composition was made first, and then he wrote the lyrics, he could've asked them to include/change a few things into the song that resulted in it sounding more Tsunku. Either that, or those composers really know what a Tsunku sound sounds like haha
