The only surprising thing to me is that it took them this long to sufficiently distance themselves from the scandal (and from the mainstream of H!P) so they could be seen again together. I mean they were practically sisters for six amazing years. It would be almost weird if they didn't retain fond feelings for each other.

Ichii, meh, she was only in H!P proper for about two years. And even then she was kinda standoffish, probably more so than Kusumi was in her era.
