I think it might be because it's a new thing happening to groups that have proven themselves to be awesome this year. It's a good combination of those two. Also, as there are rumors about Goto returning then, and now Tsuji commenting too, I'm sure the media expects something to happen or w/e.
But mostly I'd guess it's H!P doing something new the same year that they've gotten a lot of attention.
