It looks like Satoda Mai will likely be living in the US starting next baseball season because her husband, Rakuten Golden Eagle's pitcher Masahiro Tanaka, is being scouted to MLB. If that happen, we will be able to her at MLB game because she normally goes to the game to cheer for her husband, but I wonder if she will graduate herself from Country Musume.

The song being hilarious and making for a good/entertaining performance doesn't make her a good enough singer to go solo.
Then again, Japan.

For me the simple fact of she feeling that this is what she wants to do is enough. She may not do well, who knows, but she could improve. For some people it may not seems so, but it's quite hard actually to realise things of that kind and then to take the step to do them. And that's what I'm loving of this fact.

I just don't like it when people say "you're not worth it, just quit".

Not even once did I say she's not worth it. I said that she was never that good of a singer, but that maybe she's improved. Those are hardly the same thing.

I'm saying I don't think she's a good enough singer to go solo.
That doesn't mean I don't think she as a person isn't good enough or whatever. If she wanna sing and a label/agency wanna help her out that's good for her and I wish her the best, but like I said, last time I heard her sing IMO she doesn't have the vocal abilities to be a solo artist.

That's all. Shouldn't be that confusing.
