Media are surely focusing so much in Karin's broken leg and her willpower. The thing is that she's the image of the group and their debut single can't be promoted if she isn't there (although I think that if Karin goes to perform like that it's in large part because she wants to). Other girls have been injured before and they didn't have as much media exposure as her, but I guess the debut situation makes it worth it.
What I'm trying to say is that Karin's leg has become a "great" way of promotion for them. Don't missunderstand me, they deserve all the media exposure and they're so so talented, but I just think that the media are focusing more in the "sad part". xD Anyways any kind of promotion is good. :_D

This is a useful picture because the audience has been mostly sorted, males to the left and females to the right. So we can see that they're about 70/30 or maybe even 60/40.
That was unthinkable just a couple years ago.

Pretty nuts that Karin took part in all those TV performances with a broken bone in her foot.
And apart from the change in shoes you'd never tell by looking at her. She's a trooper that one.

With all the work she did in kenshuusei to get to this point it's easy to see why she has been working so hard to overcome this injury.
And 30,000+ on their debut single ? That's amazing. That's old school BerryKyuu numbers. Who else has had debut numbers that strong? S/mileage didn't If I was correct.
Though Romance no Tochuu is the new song in opinion it's the weaker one. The memorial edits are quite strong in my opinion and I think it makes the overall release strong for their debut. Its like Romance no Tochuu is good but the memorial edits it power it up!
