^ ^Just because Momusu isn't in my opinion the best dancing group out there doesn't make me not like them any less. They have been for over 12 years my favorite group of all time. I'm just not a myopic fanboy who worships every thing they do, devote every waking moment to them, or cries like a spoiled princess when someone says something that isn't glowing about them. It's quite possible to be their fan without rinsing my mouth with Tsunku juice at everything they do. You can be a fan and be realistic and have other educated opinions about them and other groups as well.

Was Tsunku exaggerating about their dance performances being the no.1 bestest awesomest coolest etc? Definitely, also 100% biased XD
However with so many acknowledgements and praises from many sources, it's undeniable that currently Morning Musume's dance performance level is generally deemed to be a cut above the average. What constitutes the average is probably better for a discussion in another thread

Besides, what do you expect really? The man is their producer who've poured decades into the group
I can easily forgive him making a wild sensationalist sound bite about one of current MM's selling point that's been getting some attention lately and emphasize it even more... on the kind of popular shows that they rarely get invited into these days ... that will inevitably get people to talk about the group whether to confirm or deny it ...

Oh you sly, crafty bastard :shifty:

They're not idols though if we had to consider them number in the idol category.

^I know but he didn't say idols.

I fully get that Tsunku's gonna pimp his girls. Its smart. I'm just saying I disagree.

I mean, I AM allowed to right?

^ Their latest release includes clips from George H. W. Bush's "new world order" speech in 1990. Also, they recently had a minor lineup change. Maybe you're thinking of one of those.
