They weren't on the list even before their concert was announced. The real reason is that Fuji TV implemented a rule against lipsyncing on its music programs a few months ago.

Hence no Perfume, Arashi, 48s.

Well, yeah, but I mean... even if the live singing thing wasn't a problem they still wouldn't have been on the show XD.

It can be also look at it this way, if the 48's had been invited they would have postponed their concert.

Holy shit Rihoriho came off as pretty damn cocky/arrogant. It's weird to see this side of her. Either they force fed her the lines or she's finally coming out of her shell. It'd be kind of awesome.

Also, about FNS, it looks like the fourth round announcements were basically UF*. MM, SharanQ, and Moritaka Chisato. Lol. And browsing the list, are E-Girls and MomoClo the only other (female) idol groups set to perform so far? If so, awesome (I'm not counting Moritaka since she's an idol from a different generation).

Random notes;
Why the hell was WaT invited to perform? And what the hell are they going to perform? They haven't released music in YEEEAAARRS.
Woooo BENI!!!!
Too bad Kikka wasn't invited along since Kimaguren are gonna be there. It would've been cool if they performed together.

To me Riho didn't seem arrogant at all. Confident and determinded to stand out? Yes. But definitely not cocky, that's hardly what I'd say. For her to seem that way she'd have to look down on the rest of the members present imo, and she didn't. not at all. She was just saying "Just cause I'm a kid don't think I can't do this!" and... there's nothing wrong with that.

^x2 Um, no.
She's always been confident and proud when it comes to her own skills. That's a good thing as far as I'm concerned plus the contrast with her other traits makes her very charming imho. Besides, the whole show was about challenging the current record holder lol talking smack kinda goes with the territory

The full show

Riho ended up in fourth place out of the seven contestants, but that's still quite an achievement, especially considering the fact that she was going up against people who had years (or even decades) more experience.

I really need to find the time to take Japanese calligraphy classes....

^if I had time to take japanesex calligraphy lessons I should probably try improving my writing in English first. My handwriting is pretty damn bad, if I wasn't the squeamish type I could've been a doctor! Lol.

And I think the thing with Riho for me was that I finally saw the smugness that so many others have pointed out. Not that she doesn't deserve to be smug it's just the first time I have personally acknowledged it first hand.

(ps the calligraphy competition totally gives us or explanation as to why Riho was invited to the show and not one of the more variety oriented girls like Harunan or Eripon)

^Japanesex calligraphy sounds... kinky XD

She's acknowledged with the "beautiful writing" stamp for scoring over 100 points even despite her age, she's the youngest contestant ever in that show if I heard correctly. That's good enough for me lol.

I'd rather not talk about (or read xD) my own handwriting orz.
