You should try adding some vanilla extract.
:)

Also in the past week or so I've made:
Braised pork with polenta
Bread Pudding
Shrimp and Grits
Citrus Stuffed Baked Chicken
Chicken Salad
and Pulled pork sandwiches.

Pictures can be found on my blog (which I've shamelessly plugged way too many times in this thread already)

More importantly, I saw this southern cookbook at the bookstore the other day and I think Imma buy it. I honest to god think I was Southern in another life.

I made non-instant curry for the first time ever!

It was pretty good. But it was supposedly "hot"... and nope, it really wasn't. I was expecting something at least like the level 5 curry at CoCo Ichibanya in Japan.

Want brand did you use? I personally like Kokumaru Curry. Lol. I've tried Vermont and Golden but I don't really like them. Lol.

Also I'm posting new things on my blog for the first time in 3 weeks. Ps.

^ I first heard of Vermont Curry in a wonderful book called Japanese Jive: Wacky and Wonderful Products from Japan:
If it's curry from Vermont, you know it's authentic.

I personally don't like Vermont Curry. It's sweeter than other Japanese curry.

Also;
I can never remember if it's Kokumaru Curry by House or Torokeru Cury by S&B that I like. It's confusing that since they're direct competitors they have very similar packaging.

Kokumaru by House

vs.

Torokeru by S&B

I think it's Torokeru that I like...

I made peanut butter and chocolate swirl cookies!

Used this recipe, but before combining the the wet and dry ingredients I separated them each in two parts, then took out maybe 2 Tbsp of flour from one section of flour, and added that much cocoa. Combined.

Completed cookies~

This is why we need a "Like" button (or at least why the mobile version needs the "Thank" button). XD

They look delicious.

I cooked spaghetti last night, then I made alfredo earlier this evening. Both were delicious.
