What is your interest here? No matter how admirable the cause, it's spam if you're not contributing to the theme of this forum.

with all due respect, what is the "theme" of this forum? do we have to be jpop fans to post? some people for instance only post in the random thread out of habit. i know it seems sort of like spam but.. i think you might be a bit harsh here man.

This person seemed to have joined the forum just to post this though.

I'm sure if any of us regulars post some link in the random thread, it wouldn't seem as much like spam (given that it's not inappropriate [without warning lol...], it's not some sort of virus or scam, it's prefaced by some explanations rather than just "hey guys, go do this", etc.). I think benefits come with establishing some part in the community, and the random thread helps with that too.

Putting on the TERROR mask just to point out that what esm said is correct. If you or any other regular or even semi/quasi regular person had suggested being an organ donor, and even provided a link, then absolutely it would be no problem. But for someone to join who has no interest in jpop whatsoever and is just promoting their pet cause, be it charitable or otherwise, is unacceptable.
