Dropped American Indian Philosophies. The professor is pretty cool because he's worked with indigenous tribes all over the world (including Sami and Maori), but as I was afraid with this Cultural Diversity requirement, he's too biased and sensitive, and he told us to stop "participating in genocide" too many times. He was also talking about "some assholes" and say some people deserve the name.

Yeah, I'm running away as fast as I can.

Taking a class called American Immigration History instead. The professor has really good ratings on ratemyprofessors.com

So LOL I found out at about 9PM that I have a paper due tomorrow. It's just a 3 page analysis of the readings we did, but it's still you know whatever.

I am literally losing my mind. I had like an argument with myself in the book because I couldn't figure out what the author was trying to say at one point. I eventually ran out of room to write. -____-

It's going to be a fun night.

Okay, the class I changed to is so much better, and I'm actually excited for it. Thank goodness.

Sometimes it's best to go with your instincts when it comes to classes -- I've had that "I know I've got to get out of here" feeling at the start of a class, and I've usually wound up switiching to something that I really liked, and where I felt at home.

"I would love for one of you to do a paper on shit!" - my professor.

That's so much better than the other way around (which is what professors usually have to deal with). XD

Although I'm sure that there are bio classes where a paper on shit wouldn't be out of the ordinary at all...

I am so grateful that my professor doesn't take off points for going over his word counts.

I am too tired to be concise xD

It actually helped that I'd been working as a technical writer by the time I got to grad school, because I had enough experience cutting and editing so that I was able to shave my papers to just a few words within the limit almost by reflex. But it had taken a lot of practice to get to that point, and I'm much happier if I can let my writing just sprawl all over the place. XD

Econ test in one hour. Paper due two hours after econ class ends. Then, work, and then... another paper.

I'm almost done with my paper. Just need to tack on some footnotes, add an intro (lol), and a conclusion. I would've finished it before I left the house but I no.

Have I mentioned how I want to quit my job? I feel like quite a douchebag for complaining about work so often but not actually quitting, but I can't afford to quit. Took a quarter of my paycheck to fill up the tank yesterday... I'll probably not drive to school everyday after all.
