The BMX flatland forum that my boyfriend goes to has a swear filter, and two of the words that it auto-changes are "nazi" and "Hitler".

I think it's because the board is German-owned, and there actually could have been legal implications if people went throwing those words around? But still. I LOLed.

I agree with boinsie...for some people "Nazi" is like super offensive, like calling somebody a n*gger or a b**ng, except maybe worse coz it implies that the person isn't just subhuman but willfully evil.

My guess is that Patxi deleted you, so you'd have to get in contact with him through a 3rd party to ask to be allowed to sign up again.

Isn't that pretty much against all behavior rules in internet forums or gaming servers. Don't fuck with mods or senior members who are friends with mods. If you really need to use insults do it in a subtle way that is ambiguous enough to be interpreted as pretty much anything.

I know MB, I'm a mod for a car forum here in Australia, but really... I haven’t got through life 'tippy-toeing' around in an effort not to offend anyone.
I automatically hold great respect for everyone and am not quick to judge, but the way Taximan went about spurting out how some of us “wouldn't be members anymore” if he had his way? , that got on my nerves. In hindsight I should have bit my tongue (closed the laptop) but in saying that, I'd only be back at JPM through a phoney and shallow 'sorry' to him.
