Problem with user subforums is that they'll tend to not draw enough participation, and it might become a little bloggish after a while with small entries. If Amped wanted to post vids he'd do it in the H!P section, it wouldn't be niche enough. There simply currently isn't a large enough following to warrant mod powers over something which cannot just be maintained from a single thread.

I understand that this forum wasn't made as a "Screw JPM, let's make our own forum!!" type of thing...
I guess what I'm having difficulty with is that though JPM is back, it's still buggy, and there have been several other changes that don't sit well with me, either (none of which I've complained about publically, I think, and it's not really important).
But a forum isn't a forum without members (thus why staying here is looking like it's not going to be an option).

H!-O is so terribly organized it makes my head spin.
MM-BBS is full of jerks and there's very little information that seems to actually originate there.
The Island isn't really an H!P forum.

Besides which, I know very few people at those forums. So it just sucks.

Give it a few days for people to decide where there attention is going to fall. I'm lurking there, but I'm still focusing my attention here. That will only change if everyone decides to leave this place.

I kinda feel like the child who's father left in a drunken rampage and who comforted their sobbing mother and told her it would be alright, we'll be better off without him... and then a week later he comes back with flowers and a new haircut and momma's like, "it's okay, he didn't mean it, ilu hanii."
But then after a week of his being back, I'm starting to be okay with him again, too. And I don't know how I feel about it.
