Because people with perfect taste such as yourself are numerically fewer than people with crappy taste. Since this is a popularity poll, it is only natural that some crappy songs will beat out some perfect songs.

Seriously, there's only one answer here. Sure, a lot of the songs are nice to listen to, but only one is mind-blowingly brilliant.
