It's finally been confirmed!

TOMOMI ITANO’s Very First US Performances at J-POP SUMMIT 2014!

TOMOMI ITANO, fashion-icon and the most popular formal member of AKB48, will make her very first US appearance at J-POP SUMMIT 2014, showcasing her brand new album SxWxAxG which was just released on July 2nd of this year. She will perform at both Union Square and Japantown during the festival. Keep an eye on TOMOMI as her new career is still on an unstoppable rise!

★ LIVE PERFORMANCES:
July 19 (Sat) 7:50pm @ Union Square
July 20 (Sun) 11:00am @ Pagoda Stage, Japantown

★ Meet & Greet*:
July 19 (Sat) 5:00pm*

My photos of Tomochin at the Union Square live were mostly crap, so I'll wait until after her appearance tomorrow to post some pics.

The Meet & Greet started late and the schedule was tight, so they rushed us through with a few seconds per person. No chance for two-shots, no chance to get your own stuff signed. There was time enough for her to give you a pre-signed poster and the briefest of conversations: I was able to tell her ようこそサンフランシスコへ and ありがとう, and she likewise said ありがとう.
