A 24 year old man took out a saw of his jacket and attacked Annin and Ricchan during an handshake event yesterday.
Annin and Ricchan were both injured, as was a staff member. All three of them have gone through surgery for several hours and are now out of the hospital.
Metal detectors have been installed at the theater, several events cancelled or postponed, and no one in the front row during theater shows. Also no high five events after the theater shows anymore.

Scary. I can understand the reaction even if it's a shame to punish everyone.

That is sad, and disturbing. I hope there are no copycat crazies out there.
