We mods have been discussing the matter of egregious signatures, and we've agreed on the following revised policy:
1) Maximum signature height, 225 pixels. That includes all lettering and graphics.
2) No hidden elements are allowed in the signature [no "spoilered" content].
3) Maximum signature + avatar size = 500kb combined.
4) If your signature/avatar is offensive, annoying or otherwise inappropriate it might get deleted anyway at moderator discretion.
Some of you already have signatures and/or avatars that are already significantly over the 500k limit. We're not looking for anyone who is not a moderator to deputize themselves and call attention to the rules on our behalf, but we'd appreciate it if people will take measures on their own to fix any offending sigs/avvies within a reasonable amount of time. Thank you.
