She's rather smart so she probably could. Still, like 3 movies and 2 dramas in one year, all in all including 2 or 3 lead roles (I think 3) is not THAT bad is it? It would just be better if it was, uh, popular things. lol.

I just saw one of Yuko's movies (ロマンス / Round Trip Heart) at a film festival in the States. She was very good. I wasn't even especially rooting for her, but her acting was of a level that you instantly forgot she was an "idol" and just focused on the drama.

I always thought she was the best actress in the 48 family, and I've watched pretty much everything (movie/drama) they have done as a "group".

Let's not forget she was a child actor and started acting in 1996. She an actress before she was an idol.

As for her wanting to be an international actress and English and all that, I just recalled she's supposed to be 1/4th American so maybe one of her parents speaks English and could teach her?

SKE48 members Matsui Rena, Matsumoto Chikako and Takeuchi Saki had a fanmeet in Taiwan. It coincided with Rena's birthday which she celebrated with the fans there.
