Wiki wrote:TVXQ is the acronym for Tong Vfang Xien Qi, the name of a Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment. It is composed of five members specializing in the areas of dance, acappella, acting, and pop with an R&B vibe. The group has gained popularity in South Korea, Japan, China, Thailand and other East Asian countries.
In Korea, they are better known instead as Dong Bang Shin Ki (often abbreviated as DBSG or DBSK) while the Japanese equivalent of the group's name is Tohoshinki (abbreviated as THSK). Although their origin is pure Korean, their name on all official non-japanese advertisements and merchandise is scripted as "TVXQ", the chinese version of their name. Although in all three languages, it roughly translates to "Rising Gods of the East."

Prior to this, he accumulated some musical experience as a rapper and backup dancer for K-pop singer Dana in her Diamond video. His chosen stage name is U-know YunHo, because when you say Yun Ho really fast it sounds like "You know" in English. He is the second oldest member in TVXQ and is also the band's leader.
He began to dance in 7th grade where he made a dance team at his school and took them to a competition. During the depression, Jung Yunho's family's business was not doing very well and so he moved away from home and took many small jobs to support his sister's education. At the time he was in 9th grade and due to this, he often slept under the bridge of a train station. At this time he auditioned for SM Entertainment and was accepted.
On October 15, 2006 he was hospitalized after being poisoned by an anti-fan who gave him a drink mixed with superglue.[1] He was rushed to the hospital and eventually recovered, though he was weak for some time. No charges were pressed against the anti-fan because Yunho did not want to punish someone the same age as his sister.
YunHo is also really good friends with Super Junior members Hee Chul and Lee Dong Hae.

The five members of Tong Vfang Xien Qi were chosen via several auditions by SM Entertainment. The first chosen was Kim Junsu, who was chosen for his singing ability. He entered SM at twelve years of age and was trained for around six years before he debuted as Xiah Junsu. The second member added, who would later become the leader, was Jung Yunho, who went by U-Know Yunho. He was chosen for his dancing ability when he won first place in a dance competition. Previously he had rapped as well as done work with Dana. The third member added was Kim Jaejoong, who won first place in a competition for both looks and voice. His nickname Youngwoong, which translates to Hero, was given to him by a fortune teller. Fourth came the youngest member, Shim Changmin, who was chosen for his vocals. Finally Park Yoochun was added before the group's debut. Yoochun had been living in Chantilly, Virginia in the United States with his family, where he attended high school and went by the name Micky. He was spotted by SM Entertainment in an all-state singing competition, where he won first place.
Biography
TVfXQ debuted in Korea on December 26th, 2003 during a BoA performance in tribute to Britney Spears, singing "Oh Holy Night" acapella with BoA, as well as their first single HUG. They quickly found themselves at number 1 on the Korean Charts as they released their first album TRI-ANGLE. They chose the name "Cassiopeia" for their fanclub because the constellation has five stars, matching TVfXQ.
Since their debut, TVfXQ has toured all over Asia, specifically China, Malaysia, Thailand and Japan. They have released some singles in China, with parts of their songs redone in Chinese; however they have been more focused on their Japanese career as of late. All five members are proficient in Japanese, having studied it and picked things up from their Japanese staff. Recently, their Japanese singles have seen some commercial success with miss you / "O" - Sei・Han・Gou ranking at # 3 on the Oricon charts.
2006 was a year full of scandals for the group. In April, Jaejoong was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He appeared in their next concert, however, and apologized to fans 100 times. In October, an incident with an anti-fan left Yunho hospitalized after he drank from a bottle containing Cyanoacrylate, also known as Super Glue. Though the girl's identity was known, no charges were pressed as Yunho stated that he has a sister near the same age as the girl. Yunho was replaced in the performances around that time by a masked dancer. Towards the end of November, a man named Han came forward claiming to be Jaejoong's biological father and filed a lawsuit against his adoptive parents. The lawsuit was withdrawn, however, when Jaejoong recognized the man as his real father but chose to keep his adoptive name.
In 2007, the group began promoting their third Korean album, 'O' - Jung.Ban.Hap and its repackaging with the song "Balloons". The album has done very well and won various awards in Korea and across Asia. Keeping a busy schedule, TVfXQ has turned their attention back to Japan, releasing two more Japanese singles and a second Japanese album, each charting in the top 10 on the Oricon charts. It is expected that they will continue to focus on the Japanese market for the rest of the year, as they have stated their goal is to be invited to sing at the annual Kohaku competition.
