Did they perform any live singing or was it all playback and lip-syncing?

To me it felt like they were singing live. But I can't be too sure about it because they were playing the backing vocals as playback tracks, and those were quite loud so it was a bit difficult to judge. If they were lip syncing, they were doing a damn good job at it coz I couldn't spot the difference between their lip movements and the vocals. The only bit of doubt I have in my mind is that the vocals were almost surprisingly stable for a performance with such high intensity dances. But I prefer to think it's the result of their relentless practice.

A ME:I Debut Support Project called "ME:I _Hajimemashita Exhibition" will be held from April 16th (Tue.) to May 26th (Sun.), 2024 at four stores : Tower Records Shibuya, Nagoya Kintetsu Passe, Abeno Hoop Osaka, and Fukuoka Parco.

ME:I Debut Support Project "ME:I _Hajimemashita Exhibition" is a special exhibition filled with "Nice to meet you" content from the members who are about to debut.

At the venue, there will be an exhibition of costumes worn for the first time in the music video, original photos of the members taken exclusively for this exhibition, a music corner related to the debut single, a photo location, goods for sale, and various other contents.
This is a project to support the debut of "ME:I" together with fans by giving shape to various "Nice to meet you" encounters through fan activities, members' Oshikatsu activities, and this special exhibition.

It is announced that ME:I will be taping a pre-recorded appearance on the KPOP TV show "Mnet M COUNTDOWN" for the first time on April 4th. Fanclub can apply to attend the taping in Korea if they are selected. Broadcast date to be announced.

Shizuku's wish is to go to the Fuji-Q Highland amusement park with everyone. She is scared of rides herself. The members that reads the message card correct gets the reward. Later Cocoro fulfills her wish to go strawberry picking with ME:I. Reward for the biggest strawberry.


MOMONA is not scared of the roller coaster and yells "I'm a BIRDDDDDD!" (In Japanese and English)

News just broke a few hours ago (sorry if this isn't the appropriate thread).

Lapone Girls, to which ME:I belongs, has signed Yuki Tanaka, Nano Kenmotsu, Rino Sakaguchi, and Rin Aita. These four were in the 20 finalists, but didn't rank within the top 11.

They will likely debut as another group later this year or perhaps even next year.

This is so great. I am so happy for these four, especially Rino and Yuki who I thought had amazing potential and definitely deserved to debut.

At the same time, I wonder Momoka and Kagura are up to. Momoka would easily corner the gyaru market (some of her insta posts already have more likes than ME:I posts). Kagura was such a fun and goofy character. Perhaps the other girls want to forge a different career.

I'm glad they picked the girls they picked for Lapone Girls, but it's a shame they didn't add more given the huge number of renshuusei, especially those who made it to the finals and just before, what with all the exposure they got.
